Silent Pipe and Waste Water Systems

It is selected and used as a noise suppressor in sewer pipes, produced from Filled Polypropylene and Polyethylene. Since the density of Polypropylene and Polyethylene products is low, sound problems arise, and for this reason, it is more suitable to use barite as a filling material, since it has a much higher density than calcite.

Polyurethane Sheet

One of the main sectors used for sound insulation is polyurethane foamed carpet underlay and mats. In this application, barite increases the quality of the product due to its sound blocking properties. It is highly preferred due to its flexibility and high density as well as its chemical inertness.
